• Audit:
  • Identify if search is recommending the most relevant search results in a user-friendly way
  • Catch data quality problems (eg. incorrect dates) and issues with AI generated tags
• Curate:
  • Identify the most interesting and useful stories related to different topics, so we can recommend them to more casual browsers and utilize them for content marketing

Activity ideas

• Who:

  • People who are knowledgeable about Nigerian history or specific historical figures and historical events within our current year range

• What:

  • Ask them to search for those events or people and see if
    • Appropriate results come up
    • The results seem to be in an intuitive, helpful order
  • Ask them to skim the first 20 pages and assess if
    • There are any data quality problems
    • The AI-generated summary and tags are accurate
  • Ask them to identify one or two articles that are most interesting

  • Anyone

• What:

  • Give them a list of prompts to search (this list can be created by the Archiving team based on what we expect to be popular use cases and topical interest)
  • Ask them to skim the first 20 pages and assess if
    • There are any data quality problems

  • Ask them to identify one or two articles that are most interesting or seem the most historically significant
